I’ve been using Ebates to save money since 2011. In total, I have received almost $350 in cash back by simply clicking through their website.

What is is an online shopping portal where you earn cash back on all purchases made through the site.  Ebates is connected to over 1,700 online retailers including Kohls, Target, Macy’s and even travel booking websites like Expedia.

How does work? is simple to use and completely free to join. It takes less than a minute to sign-up and only an email address is required. To earn cash back, all you have to do is click over to your favorite online retailer through Ebates and make a purchase. Ebates creates a tracking ticket and is automatically notified once you complete your purchase. Each retailer offers various cash back amounts with some offering double and triple cash back throughout the year. I took advantage of this when I bought my RTW backpack, read about it here.

Four times a year Ebates will then send you a Big Fat Check! Other payment options include having the money automatically deposited into your PayPal account or given to a charity of your choice.
