Happy New Year and We Hit 100 Days on the Road!

Chiang Mai New Years Eve

Celebrating New Years – Chiang Mai, Thailand

We made it to 2015 AND passed 100 days on the road!

While 2015 was inevitable, making it 100 days on the road was more of a challenge. We may have had a few arguments, which we figured would happen, but overall we feel pretty good. It is hard to believe we landed in Japan over three months ago! We have seen some stunning sights and met some wonderful people since we stepped off our plane in Tokyo. The friendliness and kindness we have experienced while on the road have provided our fondest memories.

Mount Dainmonji

Mt. Dainmonji – Kyoto, Japan

In our first 100 days we have each been able to cross items off our bucket lists (His and Hers) and we plan on checking off more in the coming year!

Island Hopping – El Nido, Philippines

We have an adventurous year ahead and can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store. Our 56 day overlanding trip to Africa with Oasis Overland is one month away and if we weren’t tested enough in 2014, that trip will surely put us over the top!

Cheers to health and happiness and we wish everyone a Happy New Year!
